You’re also welcome to provide a key during the consultation, or arrange for key pick-up/drop-off through a concierge or front desk if you live in an apartment. Our goal is to make home access as simple, safe, and stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets. *If a separate trip is needed solely to pick up a key after the consultation, a small additional fee may apply.
  • Will I have the same sitter every time I'm away?
We pride ourselves on offering consistent, personalized care with a small, trusted team your pets can truly get to know and feel comfortable with. Since our team is intentionally small, most clients see the same familiar sitter each time. At your consultation, you’ll meet the sitter(s) scheduled for your pet’s care. If anything changes, we’ll always keep you informed and make sure your pet is cared for by someone they know and trust. If you have a preferred sitter, you’re more than welcome to request them—we’ll always do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
  • Can I check in while I'm away?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to check in anytime. We’re available 24/7 and will get back to you as soon as possible. While it’s not required, we always love hearing from you while you're away. That said, no need to worry, we provide regular updates no matter what, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing.
  • Is tipping allowed or expected?
Tipping is always appreciated but never expected. We’ve thoughtfully designed our pricing to be fair for both you and our team, so there’s absolutely no pressure to tip, just your trust and support means the world to us!
  • What sets you apart from other pet businesses?
We believe great care is measured in trust, time, and heart, not profit margins. Here’s what that looks like in practice: Pet-first, always. We make every decision based on what’s best for your pet’s health and happiness, not what’s easiest or most profitable. We don’t charge extra for administering medications, and we never cut corners. Our actions reflect our dedication, because your pets are the reason we love what we do. Your walk is a real walk. Unlike many companies, we start the clock when paws hit the pavement not when we’re parking, chatting with the front desk, or taking the elevator. If your dog needs a little extra time to potty or decompress, we’re happy to give it without charging an additional fee. We value your pet’s well-being over the clock. Never rushed. After the walk, we towel paws (if needed), refresh water, give treats (with your approval), feed meals, and offer a few minutes of indoor play or cuddle time. We’d rather stay a little longer than leave your pet’s needs unmet. Small team, familiar faces. As a small business, you and your pets will see the same trusted sitters each time. That consistency builds real bonds and reduces stress. We adapt to whatever role your pet needs, whether that’s a source of comfort, companionship, or stability. We provide care that ensures they feel safe, supported, and cared for while you’re away. 24/7 communication. You’re always welcome to text or call us anytime. We provide clear, photo-filled updates and respond quickly if you have any questions or concerns. Training & safety focused. We’re certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, educated in fear-free handling, and trained in basic behavioral techniques. If your pet needs extra support, we’re here to help with a calm, compassionate approach. Transparent, fair pricing. No hidden fees. Everything is clearly communicated in advance. We even offer a 10% discount on certain non-major holidays as a thank-you to our amazing pet parents. Experienced with pets of all kinds. We have hands-on experience with exotic pets, senior pets, and those with disabilities or special medical needs. We welcome all breeds, no restrictions here. In short: We go above and beyond because we genuinely see your pets as family. When you book with us, you're choosing care that’s consistent, reliable, and truly centered on your pet’s comfort and well-being.

  • What if my pet is shy, anxious, or reactive?
We understand that some pets need more than just basic care. They also need extra patience, empathy, and understanding. Whether your pet is shy, anxious, or reactive, we’re here to support them with gentle, personalized care every step of the way. Here’s what we do to help your pet feel safe, understood, and at ease: Meet-and-greet “warm-ups.” Whenever possible, we schedule 1 or 2 short drop-in visits (same day or same week) before your trip. These visits give your pet time to sniff us out, hear our voices, and start building trust at their own pace. Fear-free, pet-paced care. We read body language and move at your pet’s speed. This includes offering space, quiet reassurance, calming techniques, or anxiety chews/meds (administered at no extra charge) to help them settle. Reactive pets. • Mild reactivity: Things like barking at the door, pulling on leash, or reacting to certain triggers (like other dogs or strangers) can often be managed with proper technique and awareness. • Behavior assessment: During the consultation, we’ll gently observe your pet’s behavior and discuss any known triggers or concerns with you. • More intense reactivity: If a pet’s behavior could potentially lead to harm (to themselves or to others), we may recommend working in coordination with a certified trainer. In some cases, we may suggest pausing services until it's safe to proceed. • Transparency: Any extra time, care, or specialized equipment will always be discussed and quoted ahead of time. Any additional time or specialized equipment needed will be discussed and quoted ahead of time. Our priority is always safety, for your pets and our team. Open communication. The more we know, the better we can help, so please tell us about any known anxieties or triggers your pet may have (thunderstorms, separation, vet visits, etc.). We’ll keep you updated on what we observe and check in about next steps if anything new pops up.
  • Will I receive updates about how my pet is doing while I’m away?
Yes, after every visit is completed, we provide personalized updates with information on how the visit went, as well as photos taken of your pets during the visit. We will be available to contact 24/7 if there are any concerns, questions, or additional instructions for your pet's visit with us.
  • Does my pet need to be vaccinated or fixed?

  • What happens in case of an emergency or if my pet gets sick while I am away?
Before any pet care begins, we collect an emergency authorization form and your preferred vet information. In the rare event of an emergency, we’ll act quickly to get your pet the care they need—either at your preferred vet or the nearest available clinic or emergency hospital. While we do not cover veterinary costs, your pet’s health and safety are always our top priority. If we can’t reach you right away, we’ll contact your listed emergency contact and make the best possible decisions to protect your pet. If your pet becomes sick during our care, we’ll notify you immediately, monitor their symptoms closely, and respond thoughtfully based on the situation.
